Rebranding TV Land

During my ten years at TV Land, the brand evolved from a broadcaster of vintage TV shows to an innovative creator of original programming. When I started we were steeped in “Retro-Contempo” styling, a mid-century modern aesthetic and archival footage. We eventually landed in a space that celebrated our heritage while presenting new programming in a safe yet more current family-friendly wrapping; humor was always the glue that held it all together. As the network expanded, more outside entities and internal partners needed guidelines. This style guide won a BDA gold award and remained our gold standard of brand cohesion.
