My name is Kenna Kay and I’m a multidisciplinary creative director with more than 15 years of experience in a wide range of design disciplines with a focus on communications design and brand strategy. I’m a thought leader, an idea shaper, a strategic planner and a talent manager. I’m a committed advocate for design and design thinking’s role in addressing business and social challenges.
I’m preoccupied with keeping my footprint small, I love a good conversation about television and I’m really into my Jawbone Up® right now. I like looking at candies more than I like eating them. I worked in Kenya for a while and it reaffirmed to me that teenage girls are the same everywhere.
Kenna holds an MS in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. She has been a guest critic and visiting lecturer on design issues and an adjunct professor of Illustration at Parsons The New School for Design. For three years she served as a director on the national board of AIGA, the professional association for design, the largest and oldest design organization in the world.
